Where is Hamm & Chaz located?

What are your hours?
Monday through Saturday 9:30 AM – 11 PM, and Sunday 10 AM – 11 PM. Call ahead on major holidays: (201) 721-5507.
Do I need a medical card or an appointment?
No. We’re an adult-use (recreational) dispensary — anyone 21 or older with a valid, government-issued photo ID can walk right in.
What is the bud bar?
It’s our flower display: every strain sits in its own pod under a magnifier, so you can see exactly what you’re getting before it’s bagged — with a budtender to walk you through it. Explore flower & pre-rolls.
How can I pay?
Cash or debit. Credit card networks don’t process cannabis purchases yet, and there’s an ATM in the shop just in case.
Is there parking?
Street parking on and around West Side Ave is usually easy, especially before the evening rush — or take the light rail to the West Side Ave station, a short walk away.

Does Hamm & Chaz deliver?
Every day from 12 PM to 11 PM. Delivery is free across Hudson County on orders over $50, and free to Essex, Union, Bergen, and Passaic counties on orders over $75. How delivery works.
Is there a dispensary near Montclair, Bloomfield, or East Orange?
Our shop is in Jersey City, not Essex County — but we deliver to Montclair, Bloomfield, Caldwell & West Caldwell, East Orange, and the rest of Essex County daily, free on orders of $75 or more.
What do I need when my delivery arrives?
The person who ordered must receive it in person with a valid 21+ government-issued ID, and pay with cash or debit at the door.
How will I know when my order is coming?
A real person calls to confirm your delivery window after you order, and you’ll get a heads-up when the driver is close.

Licensing & ID
Is Hamm & Chaz a recreational or medical dispensary?
We’re a licensed adult-use (recreational) retailer — New Jersey CRC license RE000356, Class 5 Retailer. Anyone 21+ with valid ID can shop. For New Jersey’s separate medicinal cannabis program, visit the NJ Cannabis Regulatory Commission.
What ID do I need?
A valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID showing you’re 21 or older, like a driver’s license or state ID. We check ID on every visit and every delivery.
